Current duties include but are not limited to: VMware architecture and administration including server performance, consolidation, and network security. Storage area network design and administration. Active Directory migration from 2003 to 2008 servers. Performance monitoring of VMware environment including MS Exchange.

• Took point on a major project to upgrade and redesign the network environment to a reliable and functional state to ensure the continued function of the Ohio House of Representatives.

Network Engineer Teksystems
Contracted with Nationwide Insurance assisting on email recovery from Lotus Notes archives using Legato software by EMC for federal compliance of persons working with stocks and other securities. Also assisted in a major software upgrade from Legato 2.8 to 3.1 this included building a new server environment for the software, creating and populating a new SQL data base for over 15,000 users and 600 review groups.
Network Administrator Hirschvogel Incorporated
Took a major role in migrating the network from a small Novell LAN to a Global Active Directory system that spanned between Germany and the U.S. to include network design, server configuration and deployment, Cisco switch configuration and deployment, workstation deployment, application deployment, group policy, security design and implementation.
Duties include but not limited to: maintaining all windows 2003 servers, Active Directory, Cisco switches, server side applications, Network asset management and tracking, XP workstation deployment, application deployment, network system analyzing, network design and implementation, desk side support and desk side training.
